Training is free and open to all those in Indigenous Communities from across Ontario.
The Ontario Incident Management Specialist Training course will take place in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, from March 1st to 11th. Attendance is capped at 24 individuals per session.
Training days will run from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM daily and it is mandatory that every trainee attends the full 11 days of training. A course honorarium is provided to all trainees who attend and complete the full training course. Travel and accommodation arrangements are available for out-of-town trainees. Expenses affiliated with the training course – travel/mileage, accommodations, meals – are provided throughout the course.
