Evacuation Specialist Community Support Training – Sault Ste. Marie

The Evacuation Specialist Community Support Training course will take place in 475 Pim Street, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6B 2V3, from May 21 to May 30, 2026.

Trainees who attend the training will receive certification in the following:

Basic Security Training
Search and Rescue
First Aid/CPR/Naloxone
Mental Health First Aid
Critical Incident Stress Debriefing

Training is free and open to all those in Indigenous Communities in Ontario. Travel, accommodation, and expenses will be covered for all who travel in to attend the training. Please note that this is a dry training program for the full 10 days for all trainees – No alcohol or drug consumption will be permitted – This follows ISN Maskwa deployment expectation guidelines.

This course requires participants to kneel on the floor, bend, move between positions, and perform chest compressions on CPR mannequins. Are you physically able to safely participate in these activities?
